Is ‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 20 new tonight? Return date for Sophia Bush series

We certainly understand the desire to see more “Chicago PD” as soon as humanly possible. After all, when you’ve got a show this good, you really do want it to stick around for as long as you possibly can.

Unfortunately, the bad news now is also here: There is no new episode of the show airing on NBC Wednesday night. Why is that? Think along the lines of NBC’s personal desire at present to ensure that there are some more stories still left to be told in May. We were a little bit surprised when we heard that the show is not coming back on the air until May 4, but that just seems to be the way that things are going this year.

For a time, there was a tendency for shows to end a little bit earlier in May than they used to, but at the moment we seem to have come across a time where this tendency seems to be over, and we’re back to shows airing as far into sweeps as possible. Just know that especially in this case that there are a wide array of stories that need to be told, with one of the biggest ones being a chance to see the backdoor pilot for “Chicago Justice.” While we do not know whether or not this show is actually going to come on the air, we’re going to stress for the moment that we’re hopeful. After all, NBC really seems interested in getting every drop of momentum possible out of this franchise.
