‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 18 video: Show boss talks death in ‘Eleven-Fifty-Nine’

There is probably not going to be an “Arrow” episode this season that generates as much discussion as this one airing tonight in “Eleven-Fifty-Nine.” You’ve probably heard a few times over now that a major character is being killed off tonight, and the video below is ultimately yet another window into how this all comes about.

While we’re not going to say that executive producer Wendy Mericle tells us anything in the video below that we did not know going into this episode, it does remind us further of how Damien Darhk and Malcolm Merlyn are not villains to be taken lightly. One of them is likely responsible for what happens to the soon-to-be-deceased, and this is probably going to have a tremendous impact on almost everyone for the rest of the series, if not the season.

Will viewers appreciate the big move? Some probably, but there are also going to be others who are not thrilled about it for a variety of different reasons. That’s something that we will be looking forward to getting more and more into tonight after it airs.

So for now, just get set for a big episode, and do remember in the end that there are people who work on the show who are just trying to provide the best entertainment possible. We’ll be bummed with what happens, but in the end, we all gotta move on and maybe there’ll be some ways that it is justified moving into the rest of the season.
