‘Big Brother Canada 4’ live feed spoilers: Mitch and Tim (finally) talk things out
We feel like now is the right time to talk back over something that has been fairly apparent the past couple of days in the “Big Brother Canada” house: Mitch is in big trouble, and with that Tim is the secret to his metaphorical salvation.
However, at the same exact time we feel almost like Mitch has really not played the situation with Tim perfectly. He should have gone more to him earlier in the week, or built a better relationship with him prior to this week. There’s the whole expression of “keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” and as excellent as Mitch has been most of the season he was too cagey about getting close to someone he identified as potentially a good player.
It’s with all of this in mind that Mitch and Tim’s conversation this afternoon was so interesting, since we got the sense that had Mitch went to him earlier this season rather than when he actually needed him stick around, things could have been different. Maybe it still can. The two are still talking at this time, but we don’t think Mitch has completely figured out how to appeal to his ego just yet. The argument that we’d make is this: Keep him, knowing that the Third Wheel will go after him, and then use him to make big, entertaining moves in the game. Have fun, and help to influence his decisions. You have to give him something that Joel is not, since Tim likes Joel very much.
So while we think that there are things Mitch could do still and could have done previously to save himself in the game, we will still argue that at present, he is probably the second most-screwed-over houseguest in “Big Brother Canada” history. We feel for people like Naeha last season and Andrew in season 2, but odds are that they would’ve been targeted if certain cards fell into place, anyway. Bruno remains our #1 from last year because it was a move set up late in the game by Canada voting for their favorite people that put him at the mercy of one of the few people targeting him, and it gave him almost no opportunity to fend for himself.
