‘Castle’ season 8, ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12, other finale dates set by ABC

While many networks have already released some of their scheduled finale dates, ABC decided to wait for one reason or another until now to put some of their dates in stone. Luckily, we do officially have some of these dates now!

Unless otherwise noted, each one of these programs is running for its standard length; all times listed are Eastern Standard Time.

Thursday, May 12

9:00 – “Scandal.”

Sunday, May 15

7:00 – “Once Upon a Time” (two hours). Don’t you think that this was a particularly strange move to start this at an earlier hour when the ratings have already been poor as of late?

9:00 – “The Family.”

10:00 – “Quantico.”

Monday, May 16

10:00 – “Castle.”

Tuesday, May 17

9:00 – “Agents of SHIELD.” Note that we don’t have anywhere near the same sort of problem with this one being two hours at this time.

Wednesday, May 18

The entire comedy block of “The Middle,” “The Goldbergs,” “Modern Family,” and “black-ish” are all airing at their standard times.

Thursday, May 19

8:00 – “Grey’s Anatomy.”

9:00 – “The Catch” (two hours). This is why “Scandal” is ending the week before.

Friday, May 20

9:00 – “Shark Tank.”

Tuesday, May 24

8:00 – “Fresh Off the Boat.”

8:30 – “The Real O’Neals.”

9:00 – “Dancing with the Stars” (two hours).

Wednesday, May 25

10:00 – “Nashville.”

Hopefully at some point ABC will make their list of late spring / summer premiere dates clear, since we certainly feel at present like it would be the right move to schedule out “The Bachelorette” starting on May 23, which is typically when the network chooses to kick off the show. They may need to especially start it then given that the schedule’s going to get wonky this summer with July 4 coming on a Monday.
