‘The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story’: Sarah Paulson, Courtney B. Vance, Cuba Gooding Jr. submitting as leads

People -When it comes to the story of “The People v. OJ Simpson: American Crime Story,” there is obviously not much when it comes to what is going to happen in the final episode. However, there was an extensive amount of drama when it comes to trying to determine precisely where many of the show’s cast members were going to submit in the upcoming Emmy race. This is a series with an enormous assemblage of people and as a result of that they all have to be strategic if they want to get the most nominations in the Limited Series category.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sarah Paulson (Marcia Clark) and Courtney B. Vance (Johnnie Cochran) are both submitting as leads, and the same goes for Cuba Gooding Jr. (OJ Simpson). The latter to us is somewhat of a surprise, given that Simpson has really only been a bit player on the show over the course of the past several weeks with most of the power going instead to the attorneys.

Meanwhile, many of the other actors including Sterling K. Brown (Christopher Darden), John Travolta (Robert Shapiro), and David Schwimmer (Robert Kardashian) are all submitting as supporting actors. Of the group, Brown to us has given the strongest performance, but we wouldn’t be shocked if at least one more of them (especially Travolta) turned up in the race.

Given that this particular category this year could also potentially include “Fargo,” it’s looking more and more like this category will be a bloodbath.
