‘Supergirl’ episode 18 video: Melissa Benoist, Grant Gustin talk ‘Flash’ crossover

On Monday night, you better prepare for a crossover that is ultimately like no other as “Supergirl” and “The Flash” join forces for what is looking like an exciting hour of TV.  The video below is further proof that everyone is pretty much amped to see what happens when these two superheroes join forces.

In this clip, you can see stars Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin go through what the experience was like for the two of them working together, and also why there is a natural chemistry that is there between Kara Danvers and Barry Allen. They’re not tortured superheroes like you see with a Bruce Wayne, Matt Murdock or even an Oliver Queen over on “Arrow”; instead, they live with joy, and they love using their powers to help others. As a result of that, Mehcad Brooks teases that there could actually be a little bit of jealousy that shows up on the part of James, given that he is used to being more of an influence on Kara’s life.

While in theory both Barry and Kara are single, we don’t see any real romance happening there. Can you imagine the two of them having a relationship given everything that they have going on in their own lives, and how they are effectively in different parts of the multiverse?

This preview also gives you the tiniest of teases on Silver Banshee (Italia Ricci), who we still feel could have been set up much better on this past episode than she was.
