‘Legends of Tomorrow’ spoilers: The fitting title for season finale

“Legends of Tomorrow” has traveled through time and in a variety of different directions in its pursuit of Vandal Savage, but eventually this story is going to be coming to an end. After all, it has to!

As Marc Guggenheim reveals in the Twitter below, the title for the upcoming finale is going to be “Legendary,” which he helped to work on with basically a series of other super-talented people from showrunner Phil Klemmer to super-producer Greg Berlanti to former “Chuck” showrunner Chris Fedak, who has already produced some great work on the show over the course of the season.

While we don’t quite know just yet how this season is going to end, what we can say is that there is probably going to be a showdown like no other between the Legends and Vandal Savage. Given the direction of the story right now, it’s hard to imagine him departing the show before the end.

Also, we imagine that this episode will be the one where some of the Legends start to ponder over what their future could be. There may be a season 2 of the show already ordered by The CW, at the moment there is no confirmation that everyone from this season is going to return. There is still a chance that there could be some new characters who enter the fray in due time, and maybe this episode will give us some further teases on that particular subject. Ultimately, time will tell here.
