‘Supergirl’ spoilers: Laura Vandervoort returning as Indigo in ‘Myriad’

Indigo -You’ve certainly heard the word “Myriad” on “Supergirl” before now, and this project is something extremely dangerous to many of the residents in National City. On the upcoming April 11 episode of the same name (which also happens to be the second-to-last installment this season), we’re going to learn more of what this story entails.

The synopsis below does a good job of making it clear of what to expect, and how Non is going to try to use Indigo (cheers to Laura Vandervoort fans!) to try make his mission into a reality:

“Kara must find a way to free her friends when Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) use mind control to turn National City’s citizens into their own army.”

There’s a good chance here that the body count will be high, and the return of Non at this time does probably signify that he is going to be the Big Bad for the remainder of the season, or at least the part that exists beyond the big crossover with “The Flash.” This does bring us back to something that definitely does need to be addressed at some point during a potential second season, and that is giving us a more sustained villain throughout who we get a chance to revisit often. We know that CBS likes the standalone stories, but the model of “The Flash” and “Arrow” has worked extremely well when it comes to giving us people that we really do get invested in over the course of the year.
