‘Longmire’ season 5: Katee Sackhoff, Lou Diamond Phillips, cast back together

For everyone ready to see Walt, Henry, Vic, and the rest of the “Longmire” gang back in action on Netflix later this year, we now have a great first step in that direction.

In the post on Twitter via series star Lou Diamond Phillips, you can see the actor alongside Cassidy Freeman, Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff, and many other cast members for the show getting set for what should be an exciting few months coming up. Best part of the photo? Taylor somehow making us laugh by giving Adam Bartley rabbit ears, even though this has been done in at least two million photos since the invention of the camera. Can’t help but love that kind of silliness from a man who plays a character that rarely smiles.

Filming should take place for a nice stretch of time in New Mexico, with the show having the challenge of trying to tie together what proved itself to be a nail-biting cliffhanger regarding Walt Longmire and a mystery attacker at the end of season 4. We imagine that the show won’t waste time diving into (at least that’s our hope since we have been dying to know who it is for months), and then from there embarking on a whole new series of mysteries that will span the season that follows.

We’re going to be waiting some time to get some more information regarding when season 5 premieres, so be prepared for a wait. Hopefully, though, we’ll get some other assorted updates here and there from set, whether it be photos posted by the cast or information about upcoming guest stars. As per usual, we’re going to be your resource on everything “Longmire” as best we can.
