‘Law & Order: SVU’ season 17 spoilers: Ice-T teases Fin’s return

There was a whole lot of chaos that went down on this past episode of “Law & Order: SVU” entitled “Manhattan Transfer,” but there is one person who may have been in the dark about it a little bit longer than most: Fin. His character was not around when much of the chaos first unfolded on this past episode, and you have to assume that he is going to have something to say about so much happening, including Benson’s departure, while he was gone.

So what could that something be? In previewing this story (per Entertainment Weekly) at the big PaleyFest salute to Dick Wolf this weekend, Ice-T had the following message to pass along:

“He’s [furious]. He’s like, ‘What the f—? How did that happen? I’ve only been gone a week. What happened?’ They try to explain it to me. It was a simple case, but there’s more to it. It’s basically from her messing around with Tucker, she got herself in a twist. It’s a conflict of interest, but we right it. It rights itself. Even when we’re trying to help get it right, she’s still in the show and you see what she’s going through.”

Ultimately, get ready to still see plenty of Mariska Hargitay, and we also anticipate at the same time getting a chance to see Fin do what he can to help fight to get Benson back. They’ve got such a long history together that he could be one of the key cogs in theory to help and ensure she is back in action soon.
