NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 5, episode 14 preview: The woes that come with wolves

“Grimm” has told a variety of different stories over the years that are complex in different ways, but what we especially like about the one that is airing in one week’s time is that it asks, at its core, a rather fundamentally simple question: What are we going to see happen when a decision has to made to kill one of our own? It’s an interesting issue, but something that will be at the core of the next all-new episode.

For more on this particular subject, you don’t have to look any further than the synopsis below:

“Following a brutal attack in the woods, Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) stumble upon a terrifying Wesen disease that may be the inspiration for the modern-day werewolf myth. Meanwhile, Adalind (Claire Coffee) is offered an uneasy alliance that may help her get back what she wants most. Elsewhere, Eve’s (Bitsie Tulloch) investigation uncovers a surprising revelation.”

We’re always down for a good old-fashioned werewolf story, but there is still one thing that confuses us at the moment when it comes to the marketing strategy for this show: Why in the world don’t they just give us longer promos with more insight? The majority of the other shows on NBC do, but for one reason or another, this does not seem to be something that the network is altogether interested in doing here.

Regardless, we’re going to have more news very soon on what lies ahead. Stay tuned…
