‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3, episode 16 preview: The quest to stop The Hidden One
We are getting closer and closer to the end of “Sleepy Hollow” this season, and with that of course comes some higher stakes, and also some serious danger. The Hidden One is starting to become more and more of a threat, and that is going to get so much more worse far before they get better.
So moving into next week’s new episode entitled “Dawn’s Early Light,” we could have a chance to see a very interesting story that is all about how Ichabod Crane looks more and more to the past in order to move forward. Take a look at the official synopsis below to get some more insight on what is next:
“As The Hidden One grows stronger, Crane must examine his past with Betsy Ross to find the key to stopping him. Meanwhile, Jenny wonders if she can ever have a relationship with her father, and Abbie faces a hard decision as things with Reynolds become more strained.”
By the end of this episode, we imagine as we are going to see the picture become a little bit clearer as to the series’ endgame. It’s going to be an extremely intense race to the finish, especially since the show has to do more than just resolve the Hidden One. They also have to figure out a way in which to ensure that there is a proper ending for the series itself. The ratings are not great, so you have to keep that in mind.

Hope we can get renewal for this wonderful show! Although we’ve had ups and downs, Season 3B in particular has been quite good. The last episode with Crane’s rant to The Hidden One on art is one of the best of the whole series. It’s those meaty, meaningful moments that keep me coming back… and of course, Crane and Abbie! Things are thawing a bit since Abbie’s ordeal in the Catacombs and Crane’s discovery of what we now know as the Emblem of Thura. I will definitely be checking back to see if my favorite obsession is coming back!
