‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: JoJo Fletcher’s first one-on-one date set to happen

Earlier this week we saw the first night of JoJo Fletcher’s season of “The Bachelorette” film at the famous mansion, and in another true sign of how quickly the production of this show truly moves, we are now already starting to dive into the next phase.

As creator Mike Fleiss posted on Twitter, today is the first day for JoJo to go on a one-on-one date, which should be a rather-fun thing for us to see play out. One thing to remember here is that it is actually rather rare for the person who gets the first date of the season to be declared the winner in the end. It happens a lot less often than you’d think; as a matter of fact, it’s fairly common that the eventual winner of the show doesn’t get an individual date at all in the first episode. Maybe the show deliberately pushes back its serious contenders so that they don’t have dates right away, or maybe this is just the way the metaphorical ball bounces. In the end, it’s rather tough to say.

What we do know is that the next week or two are going to be ones that are jam-packed with a variety of different events for JoJo, and it will be interesting to precisely see everything that is going to be coming up over the course of the first few episodes this season. It’s such a quick turnaround from the “After the Final Rose” to this, so we really do hope that this works out well for her in the end.
