‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 18 spoilers: ‘A Beautiful Disaster’ synopsis teases Morgan quest

Criminal Minds -While we know for certain that the Derek Morgan character is going to be front and center once more on next week’s “Criminal Minds” episode, there is some uncertainty surrounding just how vast and extensive this investigation is going to be … and we now have a greater sense of that after reading the synopsis for “A Beautiful Disaster” below:

“When an UnSub targets the BAU, and the team goes into action to find out who is responsible, on CRIMINAL MINDS, Wednesday, March 23 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Series star Kirsten Vangsness co-wrote the episode with Erica Messer, one of the series’ executive producers.”

In terms of details, it feels close to official to say right now that this is far from the most extensive synopsis in the world. We don’t really know that much more about this installment beyond what we did already, but knowing that Vangsness co-wrote the episode with showrunner Messer is a big sign that this is going to be a hugely important one to the direction of the show as a whole. Also, this installment is also being directed by Matthew Gray Gubler, which is another big sign. If there was ever a collaborative episode of the show involving many members of the core cast, this is clearly it.

We’ll have more on this episode when we get closer to it airing, but unless someone within the BAU is able to save Morgan soon, we’re not exactly sure that the future is bright for the character.
