‘Big Brother 18,’ ‘Zoo’ season 2, ‘BrainDead’ premiere dates confirmed by CBS
Want to know when one of your favorite CBS summer shows is coming back on the air? Then look no further, as we’ve got some of that information for you right now starting with a personal favorite in “Big Brother.”
Season 18 of the long-running reality giant hosted by Julie Chen will premiere on Wednesday, June 22, and you can expect to see the show echo what it has done over the years. There will three different airings on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, and while we don’t know specific times just yet for each episode, our assumption is that they will air at around the same time that they have in the past.
Meanwhile, the network also confirmed that new series “American Gothic” is going to air out of “Big Brother” on Wednesday nights, while “The Good Wife” creators Robert and Michelle King’s new series “BrainDead” is going to be premiering on Monday, June 13 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern, the spot previously occupied at one point by “Under the Dome.” This is a show with a strange, supernatural concept where Washington DC politicians may be having their brains slowly devoured, but it has a great cast including Tony Shalhoub of “Monk” fame and Danny Pino formerly of “Law & Order: SVU.”
Now, let’s move over to “Zoo” season 2, which is going to be beginning with a two-hour premiere on Tuesday, June 28 at 9:00 p.m. Easter time. Let’s hope that a year of the show being on Netflix will bring a little bit more attention to it.
We’ll have some more news on these shows later in the spring, but for now be sure to head over here to look at all of our “Big Brother 17” coverage! Meanwhile, sign up over here to secure some other TV news on all we cover via our CarterMatt Newsletter. (Photo: CBS.)
