‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 7 will feature Andrea Parker as series regular

For everyone interested in getting some more news regarding “Pretty Little Liars” season 7, we can now go ahead and at least tell you this officially: You will be seeing a whole lot more of Mary Drake.

Sources confirm that Andrea Parker has been promoted to series regular for the supposed final season of the Freeform drama following the big reveal last night that she is the twin sister of the late Jessica DiLaurentis, and she may be responsible for tormenting the Liars … with an emphasis on the words “may be.” It’s possible that there could be someone else given that Hanna has been snatched up, and there’s also potentially Charlotte’s killer still out there.

In some ways, Jessica having the twin is something we all should have coming. Creator Marlene King had already made it clear that there would be a twin reveal coming up this season, and given that the death of Jessica was one of the few loose threads that was hanging from the first half of season 6, we figured that her story would eventually be brought up once more in some shape or form. There are twenty episodes of the series left, and that is plenty of time to discuss Jessica / Mary’s story.

The seventh season of the show is going to pick up with some new episodes starting this summer, and you better believe that we’ll have some more updates all about it over the course of the weeks ahead. Be on the lookout for that!
