‘Supergirl’ episode 16 video: Kara’s dark side surfaces at work

As you may know by now, Monday night’s new episode of “Supergirl” is entitled “Falling,” and a big part of this story is going to be about Kara in the aftermath of being exposed to red kryptonite. She will become a person who is very different from herself, and as a result of that put National City in a strange position where they could be begging for their lives.

The sneak peek below is a window into one part of this transformation, or at least the part of it before Kara breaks completely bad. Here, she is back at work, but in a way that is so much more aggressive than she has been to date. Interestingly enough, she is actually much more efficient at her job, even if it seems to be for the sole purpose of enraging her fellow employee Siobhan Smythe. We wonder: Could this scene somehow lead to the birth of the Silver Banshee? We’re still wondering about how that transformation comes about, given that she will be in full-on evil mode once we roll around to “Worlds Finest” at the end of the month.

Anyway, evil Kara looks like she’ll make for fun entertainment. Maybe this will be a not-so-great experience for some of the people she comes into contact with, but for us, we’re already banking on enjoying this and then some. Plus, it’s easy to when you know that one way or another, she will find her way through this and come back the same person so many people love and root for.
