‘The Voice UK’ review: Did Beth Morris, Jordan Gray advance for Team Paloma Faith?

Voice UK -

Today, the Knockout Rounds are beginning on “The Voice UK,” and the British version of the show uses a very different approach and strategy for these as opposed to our American counterparts. While on the American version of the show we tend to see the Knockouts just revolve around a sing-off between two singers, in Great Britain it’s more of a group affair. Eight people perform for each coach, and of the field it ultimately gets narrowed down to three.

For this article, we’re going to focus on the teams that are front and center tonight: Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson.

Team Paloma – Heather Cameron-Hughes, Beth Morris, and Jordan Gray are advancing. We cannot really say we’re shocked by any of these. Beth was a standout from the moment she auditioned, Heather has a fantastically big voice, and Jordan probably has one of the most powerful stories this season.

Team Ricky – We’ve got here Chloe Castro, Kevin Simm, and then Jolan. Maybe we weren’t too sure on either Chloe or Jolan going in here, but Kevin is a complete shock to us given that we still don’t quite know how he ended up after needing to be stolen in the first place. While it may be wrong to call him 100% the frontrunner at this point, he is the singer on the show right now with the most notoriety behind him. That could go a long way.
