‘Blue Bloods’ season 6, episode 18 preview: When are Donnie Wahlberg, cast returning?

Tonight, “Blue Bloods” brought us a new episode entitled “Friends in Need,” and we really hope you liked it. After all, you won’t be seeing another episode for a while.

If you keep track of the schedule and such matters related to it, this should feel rather familiar to you. After all, it is a bit of a tradition for there to be a lengthy hiatus in mid-to-late March. The reasoning for this is fairly simple: NCAA Tournament Basketball. There are only so many weeks in a season that CBS can air new episodes, and if there was ever a time to have the show on the air, it is now when there is something else that can get the network good ratings. That’s at least the philosophy that they are likely going with.

Unfortunately, what CBS could have done was opt to give us at least some of the first details about the upcoming episode, but they didn’t do that for one reason or another. Maybe it just wasn’t ready, since they do not always do that for installments that are airing so far in the future. It’s a hit-or-miss thing when it comes to synopses.

While the return date for “Blue Bloods” has not been confirmed as of yet, Friday, April 1 is a strong possibility. As soon as we have some more news that is a little more definite, you better believe that we shall have it for you here!
