‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ season 7 will feature Kensi, Deeks discussing kids
While we may or may not be seeing Kensi and Deeks actually taking a step forward in their relationship on “NCIS: Los Angeles” later this season, there is one thing that we now know for certain: There will at least be conversations about their future! Take, for example, what is going to be coming up on the March 21 installment entitled “The Seventh Child.”
As it turns out, children are going to be a theme for not only Deeks and Kensi’s story in this episode, but also Callen’s. The synopsis below tells the tale, albeit in a rather-succinct fashion:
“Callen and the team try to save a child in imminent danger who has been brainwashed by a terrorist cell. Also, Deeks and Kensi discuss having children.”
Through this episode, the biggest thing that we’re hoping to see is some sort of indication that the show is moving with an endgame in mind. It’s not a fresh-faced entry into the lineup anymore, and while it would be wonderful in theory to sit here and say that it will last until we get around to a season 13 like the flagship, there’s no guarantee. You have to start moving forward with the future being now, and we’d like to see a Kensi / Deeks wedding at some point before the end of season 8. This more for the present, and figure out the future later; haven’t you already made viewers wait long enough once you’re getting this far into a run? We like to think so.

I love Deeks and Kensi. It is wonderful to watch a procedural where they actually let the characters develop and change. NCIS LA is my absolute favorite show and I cannot get enough Deeks and Kensi.

I think the producers are pandering with the kensi and deeks thing. Just because the fan girls are swoon over every piece flirty banter, doesn’t mean the writers have to shove it in our faces all of the time.
