‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 3: Plenty more of Bobbi Morse, Lance Hunter to come

Bobbi -Does the potential “Marvel’s Most Wanted” spin-off coming to ABC mean that some dark times are coming for Bobbi and Hunter on “Agents of SHIELD“? We would understand if there was such a sentiment out there based on the sole fact that they have to be written into the new show somehow, and now may be a better time than any other in order to get the ball rolling on that.

With that being said, don’t expect Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood to be departing this story or taking on a lesser role in the near future; in the case that this spin-off doesn’t happen, the show has to still smartly figure out ways in which to use them. Speaking to TVLine on this subject, executive producer Jeffrey Bell passed along the following message:

“We hope that one day they may have their own show, but while they’re on S.H.I.E.L.D., we want to take advantage of who they are and give the audience as much of their relationship with one another and with other people as possible, to make that really satisfying. We are aware that there is a potential imminent end, but they won’t be neglected [in the meantime].”

We hope that one way or another, Bobbi and Hunter remain an important part of this TV universe. After all, “SHIELD” was already renewed for a fourth season, and it is the one facet of this Marvel TV world we can assume is not going anywhere. To go along with the spin-off pilot, there are also questions aplenty regarding whether or not “Agent Carter” will be coming back. We’re sure that the folks over at ABC are in a hard debate over that; fans love the show, but the ratings are not anywhere close to stellar.
