‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, episode 19 video: Hanna and Lucas talk things out

At the end of the first half of “Pretty Little Liars,” what we more or less saw was some of the characters doing almost everything that they possibly could to get out of Rosewood as quickly as humanly possible. To a certain extent, though, we get it: Given everything that some of these people went through from start to finish on season 6, did you really think that some of these people would actually want to hang around? It’s really hard to envision many scenarios where this is something that they would actually want to do.

In the sneak peek below, though, Hanna actually makes a case while on the phone with Jordan as to why she wants to stay put in the town for at least a little while. While we’re not going to go so far as to say right now that she has a serious interest in putting down roots in the town, she wants to stay to be there for her friends right now.

Following this call, she spends a little bit of time with Lucas, and in this scene the two discuss how they may have been in too big of a hurry to give up on the town in some ways. What we really like about this Lucas character more so than anything else is the simple evolution we’ve seen from him over time. The character has gone through so many phases, and we’re glad to see him happier and in a decent place right now given the sort of depression we saw him in previously. Who else remembers the emo look?
