NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 5, episode 12 preview: Details on 100th episode!

For everyone out there who loves NBC’s “Grimm,” there may be a reason to call the next all-new episode a celebration. After all, it is the show’s 100th installment, which is an achievement no matter if you are a comedy, a drama, or something in between. It’s a chance to tell a big, unique story, and something that hopefully pays tribute to the past and the present.

Based on the promo below for “Into the Schwarzwald,” you can really rest assured that the show is getting set to unleash something worthy of the milestone. Everything that may have wondered about the key and then some is about to be revealed, and we’re excited about everything from the big reveal to what comes after it, given that there should be some fun mystery in that as well. There’ll be some humor, some drama, and of course some action as we jump back and forth from Europe to all the way back to Oregon. The show has established the scope of this season in a great way, and hopefully that continues.

“Nick (David Giuntoli) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) find a treasure in Germany that has been hidden for centuries. Back in Portland, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) joins Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) to track down a deadly assassin who has thrown Portland into havoc. Little do they know that Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) is on a hunt of her own for the same man. Meanwhile, someone from Rosalee’s (Bree Turner) past tracks her down.”
