‘Mr. Robot’ season 2 spoilers: All about the latest additions
We know still that the wait for more episodes of “Mr. Robot” is a long one, but hopefully the following bit of news will help to make that struggle at least a little easier.
Let’s start with the following news in regards to promotions! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Cristofer and Stephanie Corneliussen are going to be series regulars for the second season after having memorable turns the first time around. In the case of the former, Cristofer played the part of Phillip Price, the CEO of Evil Corp who is surely going to have his hands full over the course of the episodes ahead. Meanwhile, Corneliussen plays the role of Joanna, Tyrell’s wife with a ruthless streak all her own. Recent superhero fans are probably also familiar with her because of her two-episode stint as Valentina Vostok on “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.”
To go along with these promotions, there is also some more to report in regards to a new casting. Rapper Joey Bada$$ is going to recur this season as a new friend of Elliot’s from his neighborhood, which is mostly just good from the vantage point of Elliot actually having a friend. This is not something that has been necessarily high on his priority list to date.
While there is no official premiere date just yet, we imagine that it is going to be starting off at some point in late June. Given how amazing the first season was, and some of the awards that it has won to date, we certainly imagine that everyone feels around the show just how high some of the expectations are.
