‘American Idol 15’ results: Was Avalon Young, Olivia Rox, or Gianna Isabella eliminated?

It has not taken too long at all for us to get frustrated with America’s voting patterns on “American Idol” this season. The moment that we saw the bottom three singers, we realized immediately that at least one person we really liked would be going home. After all, we’re losing two singers tonight.

Why were Avalon Young or Olivia Rox in danger over Tristan McIntosh or Lee Jean? We’re not sure. We understand Gianna Isabella being in danger, mostly because we haven’t really heard a performance from her just yet that inspires a lot of confidence that she is ready to be a part of this show moving forward. Olivia and Avalon, meanwhile, have proven to have quite a bit of talent, and also the creatively to go out and be a respectable recording artist moving into the future.

Now, let’s turn to another baffling decision: The judges are the people with all of the power, as they for some reason get to choose who is safe among the bottom three rather than America.

Luckily, there is good news! As frustrated as we are to lose someone in Olivia who really should have been in the top eight, we did at least keep Avalon in the competition. This means that we’ve got a pretty talented group of singers moving forward, but she’s got her work cut out for her picking up an audience in a very short amount of time. At the moment, we think that La’Porsha Renae, Trent Harmon, MacKenzie Bourg, and Dalton Rappatoni are far in front. We’ll have to see what happens from here.
