‘Legends of Tomorrow’ episode 7 preview: Show boss on time pirates, Martin Stein’s mission

Another episode of “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” will be hitting the airwaves on Thursday night, and for this one, the name of the game seems to be time pirates.

As executive producer Phil Klemmer explains in the video below, a big focus in this episode is going to be watching Rip Hunter travel through space with his team on the Waverider, which is really the first time that they have done this as opposed to the typical strategy of just moving through time. The reason for it is that they get a distress call from another ship out in space, and it is one that has a personal connection to the Rip character. This is the same vessel that he first fell in love with his late wife on, and he obviously wants to ensure that there are no obvious problems.

Unfortunately for him, it turns out that things are a little more dangerous that he first realized, given that not everyone aboard this ship may precisely be who he was hoping to see. There could be some tension and even carnage that comes around as a result of that, and while this will be really exciting for us to watch as a viewer, it is probably not great for the Legends themselves. By the end of the hour, be prepared to see the Martin Stein character wedged into the position of unlikely action hero.

It’s hard to necessarily be confident that this episode will contain any game-changing revelations when it comes to the story, but so long as there are some great moments in here, we’ll have a hard time being disappointed.
