‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 19 video: Will Kira be a hero?

In the matter of a few short hours, the latest episode of “Teen Wolf” season 5 will be upon us. Let’s just hope that this is one that lives up to some of the expectations that we have.

Before we dive too far into here, let’s flash back for a second and discuss how we got here. On this past episode, we learned quite a bit about the origin story of the Beast of Gevaudan, and how his spirit continues to live on so many years after he terrorized the French countryside. Now, Mason is currently inhabiting the Beast, though if certain people have their way, he could be cast aside for the full return of the creature as he once was.

We’ve come to know Mason rather well over the course of the show, and it certainly doesn’t feel like he is someone capable of such carnage. As a result of that, it’s easy to assume that he is as much a victim of all of this as anyone. This means that ultimately, the ball is in Scott McCall’s court to try to do something in order to turn things around. Luckily, the sneak peek below makes it clear that he will continue to have a wide array of allies, with Kira being at the top of the list. She’s making sure that she comes back in time to help him.

Given that there are only two more episodes left this season, it feels pretty clear that we’re in a situation where almost everyone is out of time. Let’s hope people act, and quickly; otherwise, it may be too late.
