NBC’s ‘The Voice’ video: Mike Schiavo auditions, does Adam Levine duet to ‘She Will Be Loved’

The Voice -

Have we now seen one of the most powerful moments of the entire Blind Auditions of “The Voice“? We’d reckon so, given that the sneak peek below may set up one of the more obvious artist / coach pairings we’ve seen in a rather long time.

Below, you can see a guy audition for the show named Mike Schiavo who counts Maroon 5 as one of his biggest influences, and after he gets Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Pharrell to turn around for his very-solid audition, he think gets an extremely-cool opportunity to duet with Adam to one of his biggest hits from Songs About Jane: “She Will Be Loved.” This may be our personal favorite song from the band, so we like the choice.

This is a super-cool moment, and it works out pretty well given that this is two people performing the song completely on the fly without any planning. We don’t see who Mike ends up picking, but if he goes with anyone other than Adam it could be one of the biggest jaw-droppers in the history of the Blinds. It’s like that super-rare country singer who decides that they want to do something a little bit different and chooses someone other than Blake to be their coach.

We’ll be back tomorrow with a full review of the Blind Auditions, and we expect over the course of the night that we’re going to get a little bit more information in regards to precisely how many great contestants there are.
