‘The Night Manager’ episode 3 preview: Tom Hiddleston’s Pine starts to search for more secrets
Tonight, the BBC aired the second episode of “The Night Manager,” their super-ambitious miniseries that brings together Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie, and a rather-exceptional cast in general to tackle matters of espionage and other elements of great intrigue. It’s action-packed, but at the same rather political thanks to the ways in which it puts some of its stories together.
Just in case you are interested to get some of the first news in terms of what is coming up next on the show, we advise you to just take a look at the attached synopsis:
“While he continues to recuperate in Roper’s villa, Pine starts to dig up secrets about the other members of the household. Meanwhile, Burr and Steadman seize on an opportunity to recruit a new asset.”
Hopefully, we will get a chance to have some further information by the time we make it to the end of this upcoming episode … which is shockingly the halfway point of the entire series. This is the rough thing about some of these BBC productions from time to time; you only have so much time to get to know some of these characters. Let’s just hope in this case that Pine can continue to build upon the momentum that was established during this episode tonight, and the pacing remains every bit as solid.
If you are an American and are wondering when this show will be heading stateside, have no fear: It’ll be on AMC a little later in the spring.
