‘Girl Meets World’ season 2 finale video: ‘Girl Meets Legacy’ promo hints at Lucas decision

The season finale of “Girl Meets World” is still almost two weeks away from airing, but the just-released promo for “Girl Meets Legacy” certainly hints at some big developments that are on the way for Riley, Lucas, and Maya as we get closer and closer to middle-school graduation.

Specifically, at one point Maya and Riley tell him that he may have to choose … even if that could mean the end of everything as they know it. We’ve spent a lot of time getting into the head of Riley when it comes to her feelings; eventually, it’d be interesting to see how Lucas feels about all of this. We have to imagine that it’s a fairly difficult thing for him to wrap his head around. After all, he’s just a middle-school student who wants to keep all of his friendships, and he probably doesn’t know what he wants.

In some ways, we wouldn’t be shocked if Lucas said that he didn’t want to be with either one of them, just because that could e the only way to make sure that nothing changes. Maybe both ladies would feel in some ways hurt that he doesn’t harbor those feelings, but at the same exact time, it could be a little bit better in the long-term than just losing his friends altogether.

Given that there is still so much time to go in between now and when this episode actually airs, we imagine that we’ll have a whole lot more to say about it. Be on the lookout!
