‘Call the Midwife’ season 5, episode 7 preview: Helen George’s Trixie gets a lecture

Patsy -Are there going to be some significant developments on “Call the Midwife” Sunday night? You certainly have to believe so, even if for the most park the sneak peek that we have for you below is rather lighthearted and doesn’t tell you too much at all.

What we have can be easily described as this: Nurse Crane handing down quite a lecture when it comes to Trixie, Patsy, and Barbara when it comes to their timeliness. Helen George’s character in particular tries to defend some of their actions by saying they were on time, but apparently she’s a little bit of. Nurse Crane seems like one of those people who uses the popular adage of “if you want to be on time, be early.” Meanwhile, she also gets on Patsy for yawning.

We hope that these final two episodes this season give us in particular some interesting stories for Trixie and company, given that these are the three women whose perspective is really front and center for the majority of the series. We understand more of what makes them tick, and also how they feel about changing circumstances more so than we do almost anyone else.

In case you’re looking for a few other external teases, remember here that this episode is going to feature Dr. Turner trying to handle some advancements when it comes to contraceptives. As per usual, this is a man who wants to stay ahead of the curve as much as he possibly can, even if that is difficult given just how quickly the curve is changing / evolving.
