‘The Bachelor’ spoilers: Will Ben Higgins, JoJo Fletcher recover on overnight date?

It should almost go without saying that the hometown date for Ben Higgins and JoJo Fletcher on “The Bachelor” Monday night was a little bit of a mess. While the two have strong feelings, she had to deal at the start of the hometown date with an ex trying to bring himself into the equation. Then, there were further problems when she realized that her brothers were being incredibly hard on Ben while at their home in Dallas.

Based on the synopsis below, it certainly goes without saying that recovering from that situation during the overnight dates will be one of the top priorities before they start to declare some of the feelings that they have for each other:

“Ben goes into his final date of the week more confused than ever. JoJo is nervous after her contentious hometown date but is hoping it won’t derail her relationship with Ben. They fly off in a helicopter, arriving at a storybook setting: a magnificent waterfall deep in the jungle. The two take a dip before they get down to more serious matters: expressing their deep feelings for one another.”

ABC has basically already confirmed in this same synopsis that Ben may be telling Lauren Bushnell that he loves her; if he says the same thing to JoJo, then we’ve got more than likely our final two. If this is the case, should anyone at all be that surprised? The easy answer to that is no, given that these two people have been for the most part the likely contenders to be the final two since the midway point in the competition.
