‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: ‘Supernatural’ actress scores mysterious role

For those of you wanting to see some other news on “Arrow” that doesn’t have anything to do with the events of this past episode, we now bring you the following bit of good news: We have a mysterious new character coming up!

In a post on Twitter, Stephen Amell confirmed that “Supernatural” / “Chicago PD” actress Madison McLaughlin will appear in at least one episode. Clearly, it’s going to be an important person given that we don’t see Amell needed to redact anything otherwise. Obviously we have our own dreams for who she could be playing (Zatanna? Anyone?), but for now let’s just say that we hope that there’s a good reason for keeping things secret.

“Arrow” is currently on hiatus until we get around to March 23, which will mark the return of another guest star in Amy Gumenick as Cupid. Sound fun? We definitely think it will be! Hopefully, Oliver and Felicity find a way back to each other, as well. We also saw on Thursday night’s “Legends of Tomorrow” that in one particular timeline for the future, John Diggle is dead but his son “Connor Hawke” has taken on the mantel of Green Arrow. Can we see this as evidence for certain that Diggle is not the person in the grave? We’re reasonably hopeful, but at the same time we do have to think about this being a separate timeline.
