‘Criminal Minds’ season 11, episode 15 video: Piecing together the latest case

Is there a spree killer terrorizing the city of Los Angeles? If the latest sneak peek below from Wednesday night’s new “Criminal Minds” episode is telling the full story, that does seem to be the case. Someone is killing multiple women, wrapping them up in unusual ways, and then leaving their bodies to be found.

What’s the reasoning behind this? It’s something that the BAU is flying across the country to figure out, and that’s the subject of the latest sneak peek below. In this one, we get to hear some possible motivations for the crimes courtesy of the team, and eventually, we also find out that they will be meeting up with Natalie Colfax (Marisol Nichols) once more when they get back to the city. If they were ever to do more with this show in Los Angeles, it feels like Nichols would be a good addition to a team there; also, who knows? Maybe some of these recurring guest stars will work out well on “Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders” if the show does any work there.

We’ll be back later tonight with a lengthier review for this episode; for the time being, let’s just say that this could be an interesting installment. The thing with “A Badge and a Gun” is that it has the misfortune of airing before “Derek,” which is the episode that follows … and is an extremely important one for Shemar Moore’s character of Morgan. We’ll have more on that also a little bit later tonight, so that’s something to be prepared to check out.
