‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 18 video: More of Crystal Reed vs. the Beast of Gevaudan

If you have seen some previews for Tuesday night’s new episode of “Teen Wolf,” then you know that we are going to go back in time for at least a certain percentage of it. We’re not entirely sure at the moment if there is even a present-day component; instead, a good bit of the focus could be on the origins of the Beast of Gevaudan, and also how some people in France struggled to deal with the creature.

One of these people is none other than Marie-Jeanne, a woman played by none other than Crystal Reed. While Allison Argent may be dead, the sneak peek below is a nice little window into just what you can anticipate seeing from the character. It’s more of an action-oriented scene than anything else, but there’s still quite a bit in here to like provided that you’re down for the direction of this story at the moment.

Given that there are only a couple of episodes this season beyond what we’re seeing here, we imagine that this will be a very nice carryover to the two episodes that follow. One of our biggest mysteries at the moment is who is exactly underneath all of the shadow of the beast, and maybe this is something that will be answered sooner rather than later. Wouldn’t it be interesting if it was Reed’s character, and Scott had to take on someone who looks like Allison? That would at least make for a fascinating twist to behold…
