‘The Night Manager’ episode 2 preview: What lies ahead for Tom Hiddleston, cast?
For all of those out there who enjoyed the premiere of “The Night Manager,” we’re right there with you! Sure, the show had a lot of promotion coming into it strictly due to the casting of Tom Hiddleston, but it justified in the minutes that followed that there is a whole lot more there when it comes to substance. It’s fascinating, intense, and very secretive in all the right ways. We’re going to see the journey to take down Roper become all the more complicated, as our night manager Pine finds himself in a more precarious position than ever before.
Want to get some other news? Then take a look at the network synopsis below:
“On the Mediterranean island of Mallorca, Roper’s life of luxury and calm is shattered. Six months earlier, Burr continues her recruitment of Pine, sending him to Devon to build his cover story.”
The biggest issue that we could see this show having is trying to continue the momentum that it has built, especially being that it only has a limited time to tell this story. Like “War and Peace” before it, this is just a six-episode series with a defined beginning, middle, and end. It also has some source material that we’re sure that it would like to adhere to in some shape or form. With all of this in mind, we anticipate “The Night Manager” being a series that is fascinating to follow over time.
One thing we’re especially interested in right now are the ratings on BBC One for the premiere, and we’ll have a little bit more to say on those come Monday.
