‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 15 video: Eli visits Elsbeth

The seventh season of “The Good Wife” is going to be airing one of its most-important episodes yet on Sunday night, and this is especially true for the character of Eli Gold. Why is that? For the most part, he is responsible for getting Peter Florrick out of one of his biggest jams to date, and that includes having the FBI breathing down his neck.

Ultimately, Eli thinks that the best person to turn to in this situation is Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston), the sort of person who can at least look into the matter and find the right person for the job. This is the only appearance from the former “True Blood” star this season, but the sneak peek below is definitely entertaining in many different ways. You get a chance to see her undergoing some workouts while Eli is in the process of talking to her.

Unfortunately for Peter, we know that this episode is not going to be the end of the road for his struggles. He’s going to be squaring off against many adversaries soon, as it looks like part of his endgame for the series could revolve around whether or not he stays out of prison. Expect this episode to be dramatic and then some as we wind down to the closing minutes of it.
