‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3, episode 12 preview: Jenny faces her father; Nevins returns

While “Sleepy Hollow” has at times been a little too serious for its own good, we feel like the show is in a sweet spot when it finds a way to create personal, heartfelt stories while at the same time offering up some fish-out-of-water fun with Ichabod Crane. Without that, this show wouldn’t have the same flair.

This is why we’re thrilled that there is a little bit of humor in the promo below for next week’s new episode, but we also know that there is going to be a fairly emotional story for the sisters Mills … and Jenny in particular. Take a look at the synopsis below for some further insight:

“When Jenny makes the decision to confront her father, family turmoil from the past rises to the surface. Meanwhile, Atticus Nevins returns to town, bringing more danger than the FBI could have imagined.”

Let’s just hope that for the most part, the momentum continues to be strong for this show and there are some unique stories coming up ahead. After all, we are still fairly early enough in the season, and there is enough room for things to grow and change. Honestly, we don’t know what to expect at the moment from the rest of the season.

Also, we’re thrilled to see the return to Nevins to the show, since he will bring a very interesting presence to the series. As for how long he is going to last, that remains to be seen.
