‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: The possibilities of ‘Eleven-Fifty-Nine’

Arrow -There are few things we love more than doing some episode-title debates for various shows here at CarterMatt, and that is what we’re doing today when it comes to just-announced “Arrow” episode “Eleven Fifty-Nine,” which was co-written by none other than executive producer Marc Guggenheim and also Keto Shimizu.

What does this title mean? It’s a fitting question, but to us the obvious answers seems to be a time. Crazy and/or terrible things happen often at midnight, and it is certainly possible that this installment chronicles some of the moments that come right before that. We anticipate a lot of danger as a result of that, and there could even be a shocking character death when you think about the timing of it all. When “Arrow” season 4 premiered in October, Oliver Queen at the cemetery was six month into the future. Come around the middle of March, we will be at this six-month mark.

What we personally think is that this episode could end up serving in some way as either a final episode before a hiatus, or maybe the first of six episodes that air consecutively in April / May to wrap up the season. By the time we get to this airing, there is almost no question that we are firmly in the home stretch. Someone will die this season; for now, it is mostly a question of who, and we’re really hoping that this someone is not Diggle. We are fairly confident that it is a seemingly major character, and we know through visual evidence now that it’s not Felicity.

Expect Wednesday’s “Arrow” episode in particular to be a big one for the Oliver / Felicity relationship.
