‘The Walking Dead’ season 6 spoilers: More on Negan, his people, and his threat level
Just how dangerous and influential is this man? That’s a question that we’ll let special-effects guru, frequent director, and executive producer Greg Nicotero answer. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter about the upcoming batch of episodes, he specifically mentions the last episode of the season (which he directed) as a personal favorite for many reasons:
“We’re now coming upon a group of people who are formidable [Negan and the Saviors] and somebody that Rick is not going to be able to take care of as easily as he did with the people at Grady Memorial, Terminus or the Governor’s group. This is a whole other animal and we’re taking the show in a whole other direction. The finale is the 15th episode I’ve directed and every episode is a different set of challenges and I love [the midseason premiere] but the finale is the best work I’ve done on the show.”
There are definitely many reasons to be terrified about the final episode, mostly notable that this is when Jeffrey Dean Morgan may make his debut as this character. In turn, is it possible that there could be a famous scene from the comics included? We have to imagine it is possible.
