‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 6, episode 14 video: Chin’s awkward (towel) encounter
Did Chin on “Hawaii Five-0” have a really great, or really terrible, Valentine’s Day on “Hawaii Five-0”? We’ve watched the sneak peek below a couple of times, and we still have no idea which way the needle is supposed to lean.
What we can say is this. Daniel Dae Kim’s character seems to exit a hotel room after a very good time, only to realize mere minutes later that just about all eyes are on him. If that is not greatly uncomfortable for him, than maybe getting recognized by someone he knows, and someone he wants to impress, will. This is the classic case of someone getting caught in the worst possible situation, and while it’s bad for Chin, it is certainly rather fun for us!
As for how this ties into the rest of this episode, that’s still to be seen. For now, we’re just going to take this sneak peek for what it is: An isolated fun moment in an hour that will more than likely have quite a few serious things going on all around it.
The big headline that is out there about this episode, which will be set around February 14, has to do with its music. Four songs from Coldplay’s new album A Head Full of Dreams are going to be featured over the course of the hour. Basically, think of this as CBS finding a way to extend at least one part of the Super Bowl mystique a little bit longer. (The band performed several songs during the big game.)
