‘Dancing with the Stars 22’ rumors: Teresa Giudice reportedly turned down spot

While “Dancing with the Stars” at one point seemed to be steering clear of “Real Housewives” cast members for their cast, that has clearly been over and done with the past few years. We’ve seen people like Lisa Vanderpump, NeNe Leakes, and most recently Kim Zolciak in the cast, and if you are believe recent reports, there were at least questions regarding whether or not Teresa Giudice could be been a good fit.

Per Page Six, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star was offered a pretty good deal to be a part of the ballroom competition, but she decided it was not for her at the moment:

“Teresa was offered a six-figure sum, but she decided against it. She feels that she needs to spend time with her family and be there for her children right now.”

When you consider her schedule moving forward, we don’t know how it would have been possible do the show. She’s promoting a new book entitled Turning the Tables about her life (including her recent prison sentence), she is filming another season of the show to air on Bravo later this year, and her husband Joe is going to be beginning a lengthy sentence this year for fraud charges that could ultimately lead to his deportation. That is a lot to be on her plate.

Also, we feel like “Dancing” will come knocking again for her at some point in the future, and it is more or less up to her in order to determine whether or not this is something that she wants to dive into.
