‘The Fosters’ season 3 spoilers: David Lambert on Brandon’s emotional mindset with Callie around
At the end of the first half of “The Fosters” season 3, Brandon and Callie had at least a moment where they were closer to being together than ever. However, her official adoption has changed things, and made matters far more complicated for the two of them. They’ve sense adopted an arrangement where they simply tell one another if and when they go out with someone else, that way they don’t have to hear the news from anyone other than each other.
While Callie has Fost-and-Found to help distract her, Brandon is going to have a “Romeo & Juliet” musical to work on. However, David Lambert confirms that this is certainly still something that his character will be thinking about for some time moving into the future. Just take a look at his comments via TV Guide:
“It’s obviously still [on his] mind and it’s still kind of a fresh wound. It still definitely stands that they have to bury it all and try to move on for the greater good … They can’t cut corners here. There aren’t any other alternatives or solutions. It’s just this. They are really just trying to cope with that idea.”
In the end, we can only hope that the two find something that makes them happy one way or another. We’re not sure just yet what the show wants for them, but that may be a little bit clearer as we get further and further along into the season. The big thing to remember is that we have only seen one episode.
