NBC’s ‘Grimm’ season 5, episode 8 preview: A beast from the sea

Grimm -After a long period of waiting, we’re now very proud to say that “Grimm” is back on the air! Friday night’s winter premiere brought you more of Bitsie Tulloch as her new character of Eve, and at the same time also gave us an opportunity to see how she could factor into the show.

Trust us when we saw that she will remain a part of the narrative for some time to come, but that is not what NBC is relying on as they promote the next new episode of the series entitled “A Reptile Dysfunction.” (Get it?) This seems to be more of a classic monster episode, and it certainly feels like there’s a strong Loch Ness vibe going on in the promo below.

If you want to see some more news on the long-term stories that are going to be impacting many of these characters’ lives, we like to think that the synopsis below does a good job of providing that:

“A local legend comes back to life as Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) investigate a mysterious sighting linked to a tourist’s death at a local lake. Rosalee’s (Bree Turner) past comes back to haunt her. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) continues to support a candidate for mayor. Meanwhile, Nick is shown the scope of the Wesen uprising as the secret government agency takes him into the heart of their Portland operations center.”

In our head, we have this episode as being both incredibly creepy but also pretty fun. Let’s hope that this sticks.
