‘Chicago Fire’ season 4 spoilers: A new firefighter; Casey’s new worry

Chicago Fire -Chicago Fire” has certainly hyped up some significant twists and surprises over the course of its run on NBC, and moving into the rest of the season, we imagine that it will continue … with some lighter moments here and there.

In the midst of the chaos and the drama, one thing that you are going to see is the arrival of a new firefighter in Stella Kidd. You may have heard that there was a new female firefighter coming up this season, and the synopsis below for the February 16 installment “Bad for the Soul” teases just how she is going to get involved in the story:

“Firehouse 51 responds to an odd call from a neighboring firehouse and the unusual circumstances prompt Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Cruz (Joe Minoso) to take the investigation into their own hands to search out the real story. The truck welcomes new firefighter Stella Kidd (guest star Miranda Rae Mayo), but her addition has repercussion inside the firehouse. Meanwhile, Casey (Jesse Spencer) moves forward in his run for alderman, but begins to realize that some voters have their own personal agendas for wanting him elected.”

One of the things that we’re going to see on the show moving forward is this Casey – alderman story, which is going to span several episodes. Do we think that he is more than qualified to have the position? Definitely, but we’ve learned from this show over the years that just because you are qualified in theory does not mean you get what you want most of the time.
