‘Fear the Walking Dead’ season 2 spoilers: ‘It Follows’ actor signs on in recurring role

fear -

The second season of “Fear the Walking Dead” has been filming for the most part in Mexico, and other than that, most of the details surrounding the show have been fairly scarce.

However, we do at least have some further news coming in today in regards to casting, and this is something that we are certainly willing to celebrate. According to a new report from Deadline, “It Follows” actor Daniel Zovatto is the latest person to sign up for a recurring role, and we figure that he will have some sort of role in the arc of Travis and Madison at sea … or land, depending on if they ever find it. These characters drifted off into the ocean at the end of season 1, hoping that this was going to be their one escape from everything that was happening on land.

While this idea certainly seems like a smart one in theory, who’s to think that it actually will be? More than likely, we feel like eventually the characters will have to go back to dry land, whether that is in Los Angeles or some other island. Maybe the show becomes like “Lost” and they build a hatch where they can hide and listen to “Make Your Own Kind of Music” on repeat.

The second season of “Fear” is going to premiere this spring, and the show is set to have its biggest challenge to date airing against new episodes of “Game of Thrones.” We’ll have some further news on the series as we start to have it here.
