‘Arrow’ season 4, episode 11 reaction: David Ramsey says new John Diggle helmet coming

Diggle

While David Ramsey may be one of the best actors on “Arrow,” there’s been one thing a little questionable with John Diggle almost the entirety of the season: The helmet. For the most part it just looks incredibly uncomfortable, and if we think that while watching the show, it has to be infinitely more worse for him to wear. We’re not exactly sure how he even sees out of it from every direction!

Luckily for us, it appears as though this is a small tweak to the Diggle costume that is coming soon. Speaking in a chat with IGN about this past episode of the show, Ramsey teased that his upcoming appearance on “The Flash” alongside Lyla will be a chance for him to get a new look:

“I can say this: Central City will be working on an upgrade to Diggle’s helmet. That is yet to come, and we will be seeing some of that come out of Central City. As the first iteration came out of Central City, we will see an upgrade also come out. But in terms of Central City’s help with technology to help us combat the magic, that has yet to be seen.”

One of the other primary reasons for Diggle’s presence in Central City is going to be tied to ARGUS, which he and Lyla are going to have an active role with in some shape or form following the (predictable) death of Amanda Waller. Their story is going to also revolve around transporting the Earth-1 version of King Shark, which is going to be a great opportunity to see that character again after the Earth-2 version was killed off earlier this season.
