‘Arrow’ season 4 spoilers: Are ‘Broken Hearts’ a cause for concern

For everyone who loves to freak out over episode titles, this particular “Arrow” article is for you!

In a post on Twitter, showrunner Marc Guggenheim made it clear this week that the title for the upcoming 16th episode of season 4 is “Broken Hearts,” written by Rebecca Bellotto and Nolan Dunbar. If there was ever a reason to break out over a title, we’re pretty sure that this is it. This is an episode that could spell doom of Oliver and Felicity or any other relationship … though it is these two that you have the biggest reason to worry about.

In case you’re wondering why that is, the simple answer is that there is simply a lot of information about the two of them out there already. You likely saw in the flash-forward that Felicity was not wearing the engagement ring, which was no mistake on the part of the producers. Also, things between her and Stephen Amell’s character were rather icy.

While there is no word for certain out there in terms of what happened to cause the relationship to fall apart, it is pretty easy to have one guess on it: Oliver’s child. If there is something that he really should have told her about that she found out via some other means, wouldn’t that make her upset? Also, wouldn’t that make her wonder if there was anything else that he was lying about? It’s certainly reasonable to think that way.
