Is ‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 9, episode 14 new tonight? More details on ‘The Meemaw Materialization’

Big Bang Theory -The sad news for fans of “The Big Bang Theory” is that there is no new episode airing on CBS Thursday night; however, we can at least give you something to look forward to in the first synopsis for “The Meemaw Materialization,” the next new episode airing on February 4.

Below, you can see how the character of Sheldon’s Meemaw (June Squibb) is going to factor into the world of the show for the first time … and how this could end up being trouble for his relationship with Amy in some way:

“Sheldon’s thrilled when his Meemaw comes to visit, but his excitement quickly fades when she butts heads with Amy. Also, Raj meets a new girl at the comic book store who makes him question his relationship with Emily.”

It may not get the same attention as many other relationships, but we’re glad to see that this episode will also finally touch more on some of Raj’s relationship woes. Is Emily at times an unlikable character? We’d actually say no, even if some out there aren’t the biggest fans of her. The reality in our mind is that she may be the most normal character on the show. It makes sense that someone like her would have an issue with Penny based on what Raj may have told her about their past; or, it also makes sense for her to stay angry at Sheldon longer than for a few minutes when he insults her profession. She reacts in a way that most would to some of these antics; yet, the issue here may be that this is an abnormal show featuring a lot of abnormal people. Does she fit in with that?
