‘Chicago PD’ season 3, episode 13 preview: What lies ahead in ‘Hit Me’?

Chicago PD -Tonight’s new episode of “Chicago PD” brought all sorts of intensity to the table, which in turn is something that you really have to expect at this point. It’s in the very fabric of what we expect on this show, with such other things as character development and relationship drama also being somewhere on the list.

While there is no new episode airing in a week, the upcoming February 3 installment “Hit Me” looks to bring quite a bit of drama to the table and then some in its own right. The synopsis below should offer you up at least a few details in terms of what you can expect from the story:

“Lindsay (Sophia Bush) goes undercover in an effort to track down a rogue police officer targeting women leaving a local casino. When Detective Martin Watts (guest star Erik Jensen), who oversees all cases out of the casino, gets word of the investigation he becomes involved much to Voight’s (Jason Beghe) dismay. After recent events, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) sets plans in motion to transfer Districts pending Platt’s (Amy Morton) approval and Mouse (guest star Samuel Hunt) attempts to lift Ruzek’s (Patrick Flueger) spirits by offering to set him up with a friend. Meanwhile, Antonio (Jon Seda) volunteers to take Roman’s (Brian Geraghty) place in the upcoming boxing match against Jimmy (guest star Steven R. McQueen) from Firehouse 51.”

The title is seemingly a reference to the battle between Jimmy and Antonio that could be coming place in February; hopefully, this ends up being a match that neither party takes too serious given the fact that they need each other in the field … but who knows what happens when competitive spirit starts to spike up?
